Hey guys! This is Jimbo, lead developer at Tip’d, here to introduce myself and talk a little more about the progress that we’ve made at Tip’d these last few days.
About me: I love Notre Dame football, Cubs baseball, and am currently in the process of finishing a can of Natural Light pilsner. (Only the finest!)
Now… about Tip’d development: Pearson, as mentioned in Andy’s previous post, is wrapping up the redesign. It’s my hope that we can get that up and running on Monday. (We’ll call this Alpha Version 0.8.1.)
Some other exciting news before I wrap up the day: We have switched platforms! We have moved to SocialWebCMS, a fork of the Pligg project that we were previously using. And to help us work out some bugs and add some kickass features, we have Ashdigg, the lead developer at SWCMS, working part-time on our development team. So big things choppin’!
