While we’re working day and night to make Tip’d a best of breed community by putting hundreds of hours into development and marketing, we’re only doing half the work. The other half, of course, is done by our amazing community. While we are thankful to everyone that participates in the Tip’d community, we wanted to take the opportunity to highlight some members that are going above and beyond in their participation. These users are not just great sources of content (you should befriend them and follow them!) but they are also model community members.
Here’s a look at a few of our Super Tippers (in no particular order):

- deborah — Joined our community on 2008-10-01 and has submitted a total of 268 stories (out of which 56 were published), made 20 comments, and tipped 1588 stories.
- Kiplingermedia — Joined our community on 2008-09-29 and has submitted a total of 123 stories (out of which 32 were published), and tipped 143 stories. This user’s venerable site is located at kiplinger.com.
- Snouty — Joined our community on 2008-11-19 and has submitted a total of 52 stories (out of which 25 were published), made 96 comments, and tipped 243 stories. The user also blogs at monevator.com.
- Curt — Joined our comminity on 2008-10-29 and has submitted a total of 93 stories (out of 12 were published), made 15 comments, and tipped 283 stories. The user also blogs at pennyjobs.com.
- thekritz – joined our community on 2008-10-04 and has submitted a total of 234 stories (out of which 20 were published), made 433 comments, and tipped 1657 stories.

Again, these are only a few of the users that have made Tip’d such a smashing success (see the entire list of top users here). And while we are highlighting their participation and dedication to the community, we are also thankful to the thousands of other users that visit the site daily and make it all possible. Honestly, And this is rude albeit truthful, Sunnyspeaks is the reason I quit coming around here. He is like that brown noser that sits in the front of the class and always has a comment if just to hear himself talk. Thekritz is not far behind. I don’t have a problem with comments but I do have a problem with people dominating the conversation. Some of these comments leave me with a sense of : ” okay, so what “. Maybe now that I have vented my frustration we can get on with a true crowd sourced discussion. Sunny please remember we aren’t all sitting around waiting for your every comment- please try to add something to the discussion for once.
I’m not the top list and nowhere close to be sure but I’d just like to voice my support for the Tip’d website and community.

Wow. I guess I don’t even come close to being a top user. But I am really enjoying using Tipd. It would be nice if friends could communicate directly with each other, too.
David, I am sure Muhammad and the Tip’d community are pleased to know your opinion on possible improvement of the site. We will need some beta tester for our new site this summer
